Many Minecraft users normally will be used to having some graphical enhancements in the form of resource packs and shaders. For copyright reasons code from optifine could not be bundled with RLCraft and information about how to install them on CurseForge and Technic launchers has been limited.

Normally you download optifine and double click it to install it to the main minecraft launcher. In the case of people playing this mod via Twitch or Technic launchers after downloading optifine you simply add the file to the mod folder that is running your RLCraft modpack.

I recently got to thinking about the reasons that optifine's behavior is so sporadic. I thought that it may be because optifine has so many settings, some may interfere with LOTR, and others may not. So I'm going to go out on a limb and try something.

Anyone who has every used optifine with LotR, If you would like to help me out, please post a link to pastebin or some other similar service with the contents of your optionsof.txt (or ofoptions.txt, idk why the names vary), coupled with a description of your experience playing the mod with optifine. This should include any issues whatsoever, even if they appear trivial. If you haven't had any, please post it as well, the more people that post configs without issues, the more we have to build on.

Please download the OptiFine file from optifine.net. The OptiFine file from this website should be safer and more reliable than files you download from other sites. In addition, the OptiFine file should be a .jar file. If your downloaded file is a .rar file, you should unzip it first. 781b155fdc
